Acrisure Arena announced on Apr. 14 that its premium seating level has been renamed the Spotlight 29 Premium Level, marking an expansion of its partnership with founding partner Spotlight 29 Casino.

The new designation covers the arena’s luxury suites and hospitality spaces, providing guests with a high-end experience during Coachella Valley Firebirds home games, special events, and concerts. The move is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen ties between Acrisure Arena and Spotlight 29 Casino in support of entertainment in the Coachella Valley.

The announcement was made at a ribbon cutting ceremony on the Premium Level overlooking the arena bowl. John Page, Senior Vice President of Acrisure Arena and the Coachella Valley Firebirds, said, “This is a natural next step in what has already been a tremendous partnership. Spotlight 29 has been an incredible supporter of our organization and the community from day one, and we’re proud to expand that relationship in a way that enhances the experience for our guests.”

George Nicholas Jr., Chief Executive Officer of the Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians, commented on behalf of Chairman Darrell Mike and the Tribe: “The Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians is a proud Founding Partner, enhancing our ongoing investment with the ‘Spotlight 29 Premium Level.’ The Tribe is committed to our Coachella Valley residents and surrounding communities to ensure the longevity of a top tier arena facility where we all enjoy our Championship AHL, Coachella Valley Firebirds franchise, Class ‘A’ entertainment and artists in our backyard where we would otherwise have to travel hours to enjoy. We now can stay local and enjoy them in minutes. On behalf of Chairman Darrell Mike and the Tribe, we want to thank the Oak View Group in seeing the potential for our Coachella Valley and making the commitment to our community through their efforts.”

The Coachella Valley Firebirds have achieved deep playoff runs and division titles early in their history according to their official website. The team serves as an American Hockey League affiliate for the National Hockey League’s Seattle Kraken according to their official website.

Beyond hockey games, Acrisure Arena hosts fan events aimed at building community engagement according to their official website. The Firebirds also focus on outreach through youth hockey development programs as well as education and health initiatives according to their official website. Additionally, they bring professional hockey opportunities directly into California’s desert region according to their official website, while supporting families through partnerships with local nonprofits via The Coachella Valley Firebirds Foundation according to their official website.

With immediate effect, all future events at Acrisure Arena will feature branding for this new premium level.
