Applicants are required to provide personal information such as name, contact details and address. The application also asks artists to specify their art medium and describe the materials and techniques they use. Additionally, applicants must indicate how they learned about the festival and share their experience with other art shows or festivals. The form inquires whether the artist has previously exhibited at the Southwest Arts Festival.

To complete the application process, artists need to submit four images of their artwork along with one booth shot. Each file can be up to 100 MB in size.

The Southwest Arts Festival is known for showcasing a wide range of artistic talent from both new and returning participants.
