Deputies from the Perris Sheriff’s Station responded to a robbery in the 1000 block of Laguna Street, Perris, on August 22, 2025. According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, two suspects allegedly took jewelry from victims at gunpoint before fleeing. Initial searches did not locate the suspects.
The Robbery and Burglary Suppression Team (RBST) at the Perris Station began an investigation and identified the suspects as Jaylin Solomon, 18, and a 17-year-old male, both from Moreno Valley.
On October 6, 2025, deputies arrested the 17-year-old suspect in the 900 block of Morgan Street in Perris. Evidence related to the robbery was found with him. He was booked into Juvenile Hall on robbery charges.
On October 15, with support from the Riverside County Gang Impact Team and K9 unit, deputies arrested Solomon in Ontario without incident. He was booked into Cois Byrd Detention Center for robbery.
