Assault with deadly weapon arrest made in Cabazon

On October 8, 2025, deputies from the Cabazon Sheriff’s Station responded to an incident involving assault with a deadly weapon in the 49000 block of Seminole Drive, Cabazon. Upon arrival at approximately 2:11 p.m., deputies found a man who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. They provided medical assistance until paramedics arrived and transported the victim to a local hospital. The individual was reported to be in critical but stable condition.

Authorities identified the suspect as Anthony Edward Cuenca, age 43, from Chino Hills. Deputies located his vehicle near Seminole Drive and Malki Road and subsequently took him into custody. The Cabazon Investigations Bureau has taken over the investigation.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department stated that “this investigation is ongoing and no further details are available.” They encouraged anyone with information about the case to contact Investigator Hensley at 951–922–7100 or the Riverside Sheriff’s Dispatch at 951–776–1099.
