Deputies from the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station and Eastvale Special Enforcement Team executed a search warrant on January 7, 2026, at a residence in the 6700 block of Leanne Street, Eastvale. The operation was part of an investigation into illegal marijuana cultivation.

According to authorities, the house had been converted for indoor marijuana production. Deputies confiscated more than 2,000 marijuana plants with an estimated street value exceeding one million dollars. In addition to the seizure, utility theft associated with the operation resulted in an estimated loss of about $145,000.

Representatives from Southern California Edison and Eastvale Code Enforcement also responded to the location. The code enforcement team conducted a separate review and found several building code violations on the property.

The Eastvale Special Enforcement Team is continuing efforts to identify those responsible for the illegal activity. “This is an ongoing investigation, and no further details will be released,” stated officials. Authorities encourage anyone with information related to this case to contact Deputy Guerrero at the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station at (951) 955–2600.
