On Tuesday, July 8, 2025, deputies from the Colorado River Sheriff’s Station responded to a burglary in progress on the 1500 block of Pheasant Lane in Blythe. Deputies found Kathryn Grace Webster, a 30-year-old from Rockville, Indiana, leaving the residence. When approached by deputies, Webster retreated into the house and closed the door.

A perimeter was set up around the property, and commands were issued for Webster to come out. The Riverside Sheriff Special Enforcement Bureau was called to assist after Webster refused to comply. Following hours of negotiation, she surrendered and was arrested without incident. She is charged with burglary and is currently held at Blythe Jail.

The investigation continues with no further details available at this time. Anyone with information can contact Deputy Villarreal at (760) 921-7900.
