On September 10, 2025, deputies from the Colorado River Sheriff’s Station responded to a burglary report in the 21000 block of S. Neighbours Boulevard. Upon arrival, they found the front door of a residence open and evidence indicating a break-in.
Deputies, assisted by the Colorado River Station Special Enforcement Team, secured the area and searched nearby locations. During their investigation, they found an abandoned house south of the original scene where stolen property was visible inside. Concerned about trespassers, deputies set up a perimeter and called for anyone inside to exit.
Two people left the abandoned house: Barbara Eubanks, 31, and Streety Young, 29, both from Blythe. Deputies recovered items connected to the burglary at this location. Both individuals were arrested and booked into Blythe Jail on charges including burglary, possession of stolen property, and trespassing.
