The Second Annual Cactus Cup, presented by Sonoma County Winegrowers, is set to return to Acrisure Arena. The event will feature top NCAA Division-I men’s hockey teams, including the University of Massachusetts Lowell River Hawks, Minnesota State University Mavericks, Yale University Bulldogs, and St. Cloud State University Huskies.
Scheduled for January 2 and 3, 2026, the tournament will consist of four games. On Friday, the first game will start at 3:30 p.m., followed by a second game at 7:00 p.m. PT. Saturday’s schedule includes a consolation game at 3:30 p.m., with the championship game taking place at 7:00 p.m.
Karissa Kruse, President and CEO of Sonoma County Winegrowers, expressed enthusiasm about sponsoring the event again: “Sonoma County Winegrowers is proud to return as the presenting sponsor of the Cactus Cup for a second year,” she said. She highlighted the athletes’ passion and sportsmanship as well as the opportunity to share Sonoma County wines with attendees.
Tickets for this event go on sale to the general public on Friday, June 6 at 10:00 a.m. PT through Ticketmaster. Fans can purchase tickets for individual days or opt for two-day passes that cover all games.
