Residents of Cathedral City now have a new way to access information about ongoing construction and development projects in their area. The Cathedral City Public GeoHub has introduced two new services to its interactive mapping tools, allowing users to track capital improvement and development projects.

The Capital Improvements Program Hub offers a comprehensive dashboard showcasing active and planned city-initiated projects aimed at repairing or enhancing public infrastructure. Users can filter searches by project type, such as maintenance, parks, street improvements, traffic signal installation, and other transportation-related endeavors. The platform provides updates on project phases from planning through construction and includes details on completed initiatives.

Additionally, the Economic Development Hub provides insights into private commercial, mixed-use, and residential developments. Residents curious about local construction activities can locate these sites on the map to learn more about upcoming establishments in their vicinity.

For those interested in exploring these resources, they can visit www.cathedralcity.gov and navigate to the “Residents” section under “Map & Geographic Data,” or directly access publicgeohub.cathedralcity.gov.
