The Cathedral City Branch Library will host a community blood drive on Saturday, September 13. The event will take place from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM in the Community Room at 33520 Date Palm Drive in Cathedral City.

Blood donors who participate will receive donor store points for each donation. These points can be exchanged for virtual prepaid Mastercards, branded items from LifeStream, and other rewards.

Organizers state that this blood drive offers residents an opportunity to contribute to saving lives and supporting the local community. Appointments are recommended but not required; walk-ins will also be accepted. Those interested in scheduling a donation can call 800.879.4484, visit LStream.org, or use the LifeStream mobile app.

“Together, we can give hope, give life, and give blood,” according to event organizers.
