Christopher Ventura identified as victim in fatal incident on Palm Drive

Christopher Ventura, a 21-year-old resident of Desert Hot Springs, died on August 16, 2025. The Riverside County Coroner’s Bureau reported that the incident occurred in the early morning hours. Ventura sustained injuries at approximately 7:39 a.m. on the southbound roadway of Palm Drive, about 150 feet south of Dillon Road in Desert Hot Springs.

He was later pronounced dead at 7:49 a.m. in a parking lot located in the 17000 block of Palm Drive, Desert Hot Springs. The next of kin has been notified.

The Desert Hot Springs Police Department is handling the investigation under case number 2508D-1851. For more information, authorities have advised contacting the investigating agency directly.
