Coachella State of the City recognizes local businesses and organizations

The Coachella State of the City event, held on October 30, 2024, celebrated various local entities and individuals for their contributions to the community. The awards recognized achievements across several categories.

Augustine Casino was named Business of the Year, while Green Horizons received the New Business of the Year award. Loving All Animals Org was honored as Non-Profit of the Year. Jose Lora from NBC Palm Springs/Univision earned the title of Ambassador of the Year. El Tranvia was recognized as Restaurant of the Year, and Sushis y Mariscos Guamuchil received the Mayor’s Award.

The event was supported by a range of sponsors. Title Sponsors included Desert Wildlife Center and Green Horizons. Presenting Sponsors were Community Valley Bank, Desert Care Network, Palm Springs International Film Society, and Eisenhower Health.
