The Coachella Valley Firebirds, the American Hockey League affiliate of the Seattle Kraken, have announced their 2025-26 training camp roster. The list includes 30 players: 18 forwards, eight defensemen, and four goalies. Of these, 15 are under NHL contracts, 10 have AHL contracts, and five are attending on professional try-outs.

The organization noted that more players may be assigned to the team by the Seattle Kraken during both training camp and the regular season.

The Firebirds will play their only preseason game on Thursday, October 2 against the Ontario Reign at the Toyota Sports Performance Center in El Segundo, California. This facility serves as the practice venue for both the Los Angeles Kings and Ontario Reign. The game is open to the public without tickets on a first-come, first-served basis and is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time.

Ahead of their regular season home opener on October 10, the Firebirds are offering a variety of ticket packages for fans. These include full season, half season, nine-game plans, and other options designed to suit different preferences.

This season will also feature several changes aimed at improving fan experience during games. According to the team’s announcement: “For the 2025-26 season, the Firebirds will debut a series of fan-first enhancements designed to make the gameday experience more accessible, convenient, and enjoyable. Highlights include $20 advance-purchase parking, new pocket-friendly food and beverage options, earlier weekday start times, and pregame happy hour at The Oasis (formerly The Patio), and more!”

Additionally, a limited number of premium club seats have been made available for purchase for the first time in three years. These sections offer VIP amenities including inclusive food options throughout Acrisure Arena.

Groups of ten or more can access benefits such as no service fees and block seating in preferred locations. Flexible ticket plans are also available for those seeking more choice in attendance dates and seating arrangements.
