The Coachella Valley Firebirds have announced the re-signing of forward Jackson Berezowski to a one-year American Hockey League contract for the 2025-26 season.

Berezowski played in 67 games last season with the Kansas City Mavericks, the Firebirds’ ECHL affiliate. He recorded 47 points, including 19 goals and 28 assists. In the postseason, he contributed eight points over 15 games as the Mavericks reached the Western Conference Finals.

In the previous year, Berezowski appeared in 59 games for the Newfoundland Growlers of the ECHL and played one game with the AHL’s Toronto Marlies. During his time with the Growlers, he collected 54 points on 18 goals and 36 assists.

Before starting his professional career, Berezowski spent five seasons with the Everett Silvertips in the Western Hockey League. He served as team captain before his second-to-last season and accumulated a total of 232 points across 273 games. His tally of 130 goals makes him the all-time leading goal scorer in Silvertips’ franchise history.

The Firebirds’ list of signed players includes Ian McKinnon (two-year), Gustav Olofsson (two-year), Jack LaFontaine (one-year), Charlie Wright (one-year), Landon McCallum (one-year), Jakov Novak (one-year), and Jackson Berezowski (one-year).
