College of the Desert announced on April 23 that it will host GradFest 2026 for graduating students at the Palm Desert Campus Gymnasium from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

GradFest 2026 is designed as a “one-stop shop” for all commencement requirements, allowing students who have been cleared for graduation to register for commencement, pick up tickets for family and friends, submit name pronunciations for the ceremony, and collect regalia. The event will also feature professional graduation photos, a cap decorating station, and representatives from local four-year colleges and universities. Light refreshments will be available to participants.

Dr. Maria Ayon, Dean of Enrollment Services, said, “GradFest gives our students the chance to slow down for a moment and recognize the tremendous amount of work they have put into achieving their goals. We are so proud of the Class of 2026 and look forward to celebrating everything they have achieved.”

The College of the Desert Commencement Ceremony for the Class of 2026 is scheduled to take place on May 18 at Acrisure Arena. Details regarding the specifics of the ceremony will be provided in advance to graduating students.

Students with questions about graduation requirements or commencement participation are encouraged to contact Admissions and Records or visit the organization’s website.
