On September 5, 2025, deputies from the Lake Mathews Sheriff’s Station responded to a commercial burglary on Temescal Canyon Road in unincorporated Corona. The Special Enforcement Team took over the investigation and identified a vehicle linked to the incident.
Four days later, on September 9, deputies from the Jurupa Valley Station found a vehicle matching the description on Rubidoux Boulevard. Two men entered the vehicle and attempted to flee, leading deputies on a pursuit that ended nearby. Both suspects were arrested at the scene. Video surveillance confirmed a burglary had occurred and led investigators to identify a third suspect, who was also taken into custody in the area.
Further investigation revealed that these individuals were connected to six additional commercial burglaries: one more in Lake Mathews, one in Jurupa Valley, and four in Corona. The suspects—Nicholas Land (33), Ivan Cervantes (34), and Jesse Massie (38), all residents of Mira Loma—were booked into Robert Presley Detention Center for commercial burglary and conspiracy.
A search warrant was executed with help from several law enforcement teams and the Corona Police Department at a residence on Beach Street in Mira Loma. Property from the burglaries was recovered and returned to its owners.
