Cruz Maeda, Gladys, a 44-year-old resident of Lake Elsinore, CA, has been identified in a recent coroner’s report. The incident occurred on July 20, 2025. The time of death was recorded at 2:46 AM, shortly after the injury time noted at 2:33 AM.

The location of both the injury and death was southbound Interstate 215, approximately three-tenths of a mile north of Murrieta Hot Springs Road in Murrieta, CA. The California Highway Patrol-Temecula is the agency investigating this case under investigation number 9685202501156.
