On September 4, 2025, Edgar Orozco Martinez, a 48-year-old resident of Menifee, California, died in Lake Elsinore. According to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office, the incident occurred at approximately 11:01 a.m., with death pronounced at 11:13 a.m. The location was identified as Via De La Valle, about 400 feet north of Plaza Valenza in Lake Elsinore.

The Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station is handling the investigation under case number L–252470040. The next of kin has been notified. Authorities have advised that all inquiries regarding this case be directed to the investigating agency.
