Kenneth Cabanatan, a 40-year-old resident of Norco, California, died on August 20, 2025. According to information released by the Riverside County Coroner’s Office, Cabanatan was injured in an incident that occurred at approximately 3:53 a.m. on the southbound I-215 roadway, about 0.4 miles south of Box Springs Road in Riverside.
He was transported to Riverside Community Hospital at 4445 Magnolia Ave., where he was pronounced dead at 5:41 a.m. The California Highway Patrol – Riverside is leading the investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death. The case number for this investigation is 250820IN0044.
The coroner’s office confirmed that next of kin have been notified and directed all further inquiries to the investigating agency.
