Death of Yorba Linda woman on I-15 in Eastvale under investigation

A 70-year-old woman from Yorba Linda, identified as Cynthia Weymans, died early on August 30, 2025. According to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office, Weymans was pronounced dead at 4:01 a.m. The incident occurred on the northbound Interstate 15, approximately 400 feet north of Limonite Avenue in Eastvale.

The California Highway Patrol – Riverside is investigating the case under investigation number 250830IN0109. Authorities report that both the injury and death took place at the same location along I-15. Next of kin have been notified.

“For further information refer to investigating agency,” stated officials in a public release.

No additional details about the circumstances leading to Weymans’ death have been released at this time.
