Desert Jet is partnering with Desert Paws Sanctuary to host the second annual Dog Days of Summer Adoption Event. The event is scheduled for Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Desert Jet’s executive FBO terminal located at the Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport in Thermal, California.

According to the organizers, the goal of the event is to support animal welfare and community engagement by helping dogs find permanent homes or foster families. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet dogs available for adoption or sign up as fosters.

A statement from the organizers reads: “We believe in giving back to the community we love, and that includes our four-legged friends. Come out to meet some adorable pups looking for their furever homes, or sign up to foster!”

The event is open to anyone interested in adopting a pet or simply supporting animal rescue efforts. More information about Desert Paws Sanctuary can be found at https://desertpawssanctuary.org.

“We all hope to see you here!” organizers added.
