Fatal hit-and-run involving motorcycle under investigation in Wildomar

Deputies from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station responded to a fatal hit-and-run collision on August 13, 2025, at approximately 6:13 p.m. The incident occurred at the intersection of Bundy Canyon Road and Harvest Way in Wildomar. According to authorities, the crash involved a vehicle and a motorcycle.

Upon arrival, deputies found the motorcyclist unresponsive in a nearby ravine and began lifesaving efforts. Cal Fire Paramedics continued these measures but ultimately pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased is being withheld until next of kin are notified.

The Lake Elsinore Station’s Traffic Team has taken over the investigation. Officials stated that “the driver of the vehicle fled the scene, and alcohol is suspected to be a factor in this collision.” Law enforcement is actively working to identify the suspect.

“This is an ongoing investigation, and no further details are available at this time,” according to officials.
