Fatal motorcycle collision under investigation in Jurupa Valley

On the evening of October 15, 2025, deputies from the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a traffic collision at the intersection of Market Street and 24th Street in Jurupa Valley. The incident, which occurred around 7:20 p.m., involved a motorcycle and another vehicle.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they found the motorcycle rider had died from injuries sustained in the crash. The identity of the rider has not been released as authorities are waiting to notify family members.

The Traffic Collision Reconstruction Team from the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station took over the investigation. According to officials, “The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.” The cause of the accident is still being investigated, but authorities indicated that alcohol or drugs may have played a role.

As part of their efforts to collect evidence and process the area, Market Street was temporarily closed between Hall Avenue and Rivera Street. Law enforcement is asking anyone who witnessed the collision or has information about it to contact Deputy Chavez at (951) 955–2600 or reach out to Riverside County Sheriff’s Office dispatch at (951) 776–1099.
