The Coachella Valley Firebirds are hosting two community pop-up events on December 19th to collect stuffed animals for their upcoming Teddy Bear Toss Night. These events will take place at The Shops on El Paseo in Palm Desert and Big Rock Pub and Golf in Indio.

Fans attending these free events are encouraged to donate teddy bears or other stuffed animals. Each donation provides an opportunity to spin a prize wheel for a chance to win various prizes, including autographed team items, gift cards, game tickets, and more. Additionally, attendees can take photos with life-sized bears and get the first look at the Cactus Cup trophy. This trophy will be awarded during the inaugural NCAA Division I hockey tournament at Acrisure Arena on January 3rd and 4th, 2025.

The event details are as follows:

– At The Shops on El Paseo from 11 am to 1 pm PT.
– At Big Rock Pub & Golf from 4 pm to 7 pm PT.

The Firebirds will conclude their pre-Christmas homestand with a game against the Ontario Reign on December 20th. This event is themed Ugly Sweater Night, sponsored by Alaska Airlines. Fans are invited to wear ugly sweaters and enjoy holiday treats and specials. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 pm PT.

Following the holiday break, the Firebirds have planned two more theme nights in December. The Teddy Bear Toss Night will be presented by The General Air Conditioning and Plumbing, followed by a New Year’s Eve game featuring an indoor fireworks display sponsored by Big Rock Pub and Golf.

For ticket information, fans can visit Ticketmaster or stay updated through CVFirebirds.com and social media @Firebirds.
