The Firebirds secured a 3-2 win against the Chicago Wolves on Saturday night. Jagger Firkus sealed the victory with an overtime goal, while Ryan Winterton contributed two goals, helping Coachella Valley to improve their season record to 34-22-2-5. Rookie Nikke Kokko made 26 saves, achieving his 18th win.

Firkus’ goal helped the team earn another crucial win as they aim for the Calder Cup Playoffs. The teams will face off again tomorrow at 1 p.m. PT at Allstate Arena.

The Firebirds are gearing up for an exciting April with five home games as part of their playoff push, featuring special events like $5 Beer Nights, Kraken Night presented by Alaska Airlines, and a Fan Appreciation Night presented by Acrisure. Tickets for these games are now available.
