The Firebirds secured a victory against the Colorado Eagles on Sunday afternoon at Blue Arena with a final score of 4-2. Logan Morrison, Lleyton Roed, and Ty Nelson contributed to the win by scoring in the last 5:10 of the third period. This victory marks Coachella Valley’s 21st win of the season and moves them back into second place in the Pacific Division.
The Firebirds are set to continue their four-game road trip this Wednesday, January 22nd, as they face off against the San Jose Barracuda. The game is scheduled to start at 7 pm PT.
