The Firebirds secured a victory against the Abbotsford Canucks with a final score of 5-2 on Wednesday night at Acrisure Arena. This win marks their 22nd of the season, ending a three-game losing streak. The team managed to score four times in the first 4:54 of the third period and also achieved three powerplay goals during the match.

Looking ahead, the Firebirds will travel to Cedar Park, Texas for two games against the Texas Stars scheduled for Friday and Saturday night.

In other news, fans can look forward to the upcoming AHL All-Star Classic at Acrisure Arena on February 2-3, 2025.
