The Firebirds secured a victory against the Tucson Roadrunners with a 5-2 win on Wednesday night. Jani Nyman played a pivotal role by scoring two goals. Ty Nelson and Luke Henman also contributed to the team’s 27th win of the season. Goalie Philipp Grubauer made 22 saves out of 24 shots, achieving his first home victory in Coachella Valley.

The Firebirds are set to continue their homestand this Saturday, February 22nd, as they face off against the Calgary Wranglers for “Pink in the Rink Night,” sponsored by El Paseo Jewelers. The event aims to honor those affected by breast cancer, and attendees are encouraged to wear pink. Early arrivals will receive a pink beanie, with puck drop scheduled for 6 pm PT. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster.

For fans interested in attending games with friends, the team offers the new “Me + 3 Plan.” This package includes four tickets and two beanies for Sunday home games from January through April, starting at $28. More information is available at CVFirebirds.com.
