Rapidly growing GForce Gymnastics & Parkour has opened its first location in the Coachella Valley at 46630 Washington Street, Suite 2. The company is an extension of San Diego Gymnastics, which has operated for over 17 years and runs seven locations across San Diego County.

In 2024, GForce began franchising to bring its gymnastics and parkour programs—including alternative preschool, after school activities, Kids’ Night Out, and camps—to areas beyond San Diego County. Its first franchise opened earlier this year in Murrieta; the La Quinta facility marks the latest expansion as demand for youth fitness options grows in the region.

GForce’s programs blend gymnastics, parkour, tumbling, and active play for children of all ages and skill levels. “We are thrilled to be here in the Coachella Valley and bring local families a great location for fitness, friendship and fun in a convenient location with ample parking, near other amenities and shopping,” said Erin Adams, owner of GForce La Quinta.

The new gym features 6,000 square feet of equipment including a 30-foot tumbltrak trampoline, uneven bars for both recreation and competition, a warped wall and modular parkour obstacles, competition-level balance beams, a 22-foot climbing rope, and a large spring floor. The facility is equipped with high-efficiency air conditioning to accommodate warm-weather needs.

Classes are structured to develop coordination, strength, agility, creativity in movement, and progression of skills within a supervised environment. For younger children there are sessions focused on developing balance and body awareness through play.

At GForce’s core is helping kids build confidence through movement. Each class emphasizes progress and participation. “Our number one priority is that the kids have fun and feel empowered,” Adams said.

The La Quinta gym also offers seasonal camps, open gym times, special events such as birthday parties or group celebrations—all led by trained coaches prioritizing safety and engagement.

Families from La Quinta as well as Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, Indio and nearby communities can access flexible scheduling options at affordable rates; programs cater to all skill levels to ensure accessibility for every child.

GForce Gymnastics & Parkour serves children from walking age up to 17 years old with an array of programs aimed at promoting fitness in a supportive setting. Locations currently include Murrieta and La Quinta with additional sites planned. All coaches hold USAG certification along with CPR/First Aid credentials; staff backgrounds range from teaching credentials to collegiate athletics experience.
