Guide Dogs of the Desert has announced the return of its annual holiday event, Jingle Paws, previously known as Santa Paws. The event is scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Vine Ave. & W. Chino Drive in Palm Springs, California.

Jingle Paws invites community members to participate in a 5K run or walk while dressed in Santa suits. The event encourages families and their pets to join in for a morning that will feature vendor booths, awards, children’s activities such as an Elf Dash at 10:00 a.m., and opportunities for holiday photos.

“Jingle Paws is all about community, compassion, and connection,” said Robert Maher, Executive Director of Guide Dogs of the Desert. “It’s a chance to come together, celebrate the holidays, and support the life-changing work of providing guide dogs to those who need them.”

The organization encourages teams from neighborhoods, businesses, and local groups to participate as a way to strengthen bonds and contribute during the holiday season.

All proceeds from Jingle Paws will go toward Guide Dogs of the Desert programs that help individuals who are blind or visually impaired gain greater mobility and independence. Founded in 1972, Guide Dogs of the Desert provides trained guide dogs at no cost to qualified individuals.

For more information on registration or volunteering opportunities for Jingle Paws, visit www.gddca.org or contact Kimberly by email or phone.
