Renowned singer and actress Jennifer Lopez is set to perform at Acrisure Arena in Greater Palm Springs as part of her “This Is Me…Now The Tour.” This marks Lopez’s first tour in five years, spanning over 30 cities.

According to the arena’s website, the concert is scheduled for July 19, with tickets currently available for purchase.

The tour, as per Acrisure Arena’s website, will feature a collection of Lopez’s popular songs throughout her career. In addition, she will introduce new tracks from her latest album, “This Is Me…Now.” The album signifies Lopez’s comeback to the music scene after nearly a decade. It incorporates elements of pop, R&B, and hip hop, creating a genre fusion. Through her lyrics, Lopez explores life’s complexities – love and relationships – with raw honesty and introspection. The narrative unfolds personal growth, resilience, and the significance of self-love.

The website reveals that the album was written and recorded at Lopez’s Los Angeles residence between 2022 and 2023. Producers Rogét Chahayed, Angel Lopez, and Jeff “Gitty” Gitelman contributed to the album production. Additional contributions were made by songwriter-producers such as HitBoy, Tay Kieth, Yeti Beats, Carter Lang, Kim “Kaydence” Krysiuk, Jason Derulo, and Brandon Riester.

In conjunction with the tour announcement was the release of an Amazon Original titled “This Is Me…Now: A LoveStory,” directed by Dave Meyers. According to the announcement details, it provides an insight into Lopez’s quest for love from her perspective. With costumes, choreography and appearances by other notable figures included in this original look into her life.

Lopez is often regarded as a Latin pop culture icon according to the announcement. She has multiple singles on the US Billboard Hot 100, including “If You Had My Love,” “I’m Real,” “Ain’t It Funny,” and “All I Have.” Forbes acknowledged her as the world’s most powerful celebrity in 2012, and Time magazine listed her among the 100 most influential people in the world in 2018. Beyond her music and acting career, Lopez has diversified into various ventures such as beauty and clothing lines, fragrances, a production company, and philanthropic efforts through her charitable foundation.
