Legendary filmmaker and author John Waters is set to perform at Living Out in Palm Springs on March 4. Known for his unique style and controversial films such as “Pink Flamingos” and “Hairspray,” Waters will present “The Naked Truth,” an early evening lawn performance from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Waters’ storytelling is renowned for its irreverent humor and fearless approach, making him a significant figure in American culture. His performance promises an unfiltered journey through his views on art, film, politics, and pop culture.

“John Waters has always been a trailblazer for unapologetic self-expression and a champion of the underground,” said Loren Ostrow, CEO of Living Out. “We are thrilled to welcome him to Living Out, where his bold, fearless spirit aligns perfectly with our mission to celebrate individuality, authenticity, and joy.”

Living Out is a community designed for the LGBTQ+ community and its allies. The event offers fans a chance to experience Waters’ distinctive blend of wit in an intimate setting.

After the performance, attendees can dine at Alice B., the on-site restaurant operated by chefs Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken. The restaurant is inspired by Alice B. Toklas and Gertrude Stein’s lives and features mid-century modern design elements.

Tickets for “The Naked Truth” are priced at $95 and available through Simpletix.
