Today, Congressman Ken Calvert from California’s 41st district shared his thoughts on the inauguration of President Donald Trump. In his statement, Rep. Calvert addressed several key issues he believes have affected Americans over the past four years.

“Over the past four years, Americans have seen and felt the negative impacts of an affordability crisis, a tidal wave of illegal immigration, and emboldened aggression by our adversaries,” he stated. According to him, these challenges mark an era that ends with Trump’s inauguration.

Calvert outlined clear objectives moving forward: reducing living costs for working families and seniors, re-establishing borders with enforced rule-of-law, and securing peace through strength rather than conflict. He emphasized that these goals are not partisan but are about achieving positive outcomes for all Californians.

He concluded by encouraging unity among Americans to work towards “a more prosperous, safer, and peaceful future for this country that binds us together.”
