Award-winning comedian Sofía Niño de Rivera is scheduled to perform at the Special Events Center at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino on Friday, May 8, 2026. Tickets for the show will be available starting at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 6, through the Fantasy Springs Box Office, by phone at (760) 342-5000, or online at www.FantasySpringsResort.com. Niño de Rivera is recognized as a pioneer of stand-up comedy in Mexico and Latin America and has been active for over fourteen years. She has performed across various venues including theaters and festivals both nationally and internationally. Her comedic style often addresses social relationships, female identity, politics, and Mexican traditions.

She has received several awards throughout her career such as the Stand-Up Comedy Award in 2015 and the Comedy Award in 2016. In recent years, her audience in the United States has grown rapidly; she sold more than 20,000 tickets during the first part of her US tour in 2024.

Her work includes three major comedy specials: “Sofía Niño de Rivera: Expuesta,” which premiered on Netflix in 2016 making her the first Mexican woman to release a Spanish-language comedy special on that platform; “Sofía Niño de Rivera: Selección Natural” released on Netflix in 2018; and “Sofía Niño de Rivera: Lo Volvería a Hacer,” which debuted on Prime Video in 2022 after being filmed in New York City.
