As the name suggests, Academy Award-winning actor Billy Bob Thornton was one of the founders of the American rock and rockabilly band known as The Boxmasters, a product of California. If you don’t know rockabilly, this concert is a good intro.

The Budweiser Clydesdales are making an appearance for all to see without charge as they deliver to local restaurants. 

WHERE: El Paseo Shopping District, between Highway 74/Monterey and Portola; Palm Desert, CA 92260. 

WHEN: The horses will be hitched behind the Daily Grill at 1 p.m. and journey to El Paseo at 2 p.m.
