Deputies from the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a serious traffic collision involving a motorcycle and another vehicle on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. The incident occurred around 4:49 p.m. at Armstrong Road and 30th Street in Jurupa Valley.
Upon arrival, deputies found the motorcycle rider in the northbound lanes of Armstrong Road with major injuries. Both the rider and the driver of the other vehicle were transported to local hospitals for medical treatment. The motorcycle rider later died from injuries sustained in the crash.
The Traffic Collision Reconstruction Team from the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station took over the investigation at the scene. Authorities stated that “the driver of the vehicle cooperated with the investigation, and the cause of the collision is still under investigation.” They also noted that “it appears alcohol and/or drugs were not a factor in the collision.” The identity of the motorcycle rider is being withheld until next of kin are notified.
To process evidence and investigate, Armstrong Road was temporarily closed between Sierra Avenue and 34th Street. Officials are asking anyone who witnessed the incident or has information to contact Deputy Chavez at (951) 955–2600 or Riverside County Sheriff’s Office dispatch at (951) 776–1099.
