Motorcyclist killed in early morning crash in Cherry Valley

A motorcyclist died following a single-vehicle crash on the morning of October 8, 2025, in Cherry Valley. According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, deputies from the Cabazon Sheriff’s Station responded at 6:52 a.m. to reports of a major injury collision near Cherry Valley Boulevard and Roberts Street.

Upon arrival, deputies found that the rider had died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. The San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station’s Traffic Team took over the investigation.

Due to the incident, westbound traffic on Cherry Valley Boulevard at Calimesa Boulevard and eastbound traffic at Roberts Street were closed. Authorities stated that they expect Cherry Valley Boulevard to reopen by approximately 11:00 a.m.

The identity of the motorcyclist has not been released pending notification of next of kin. The investigation is ongoing, and no further details are available at this time.
