The Temptations and The Four Tops, two legendary bands, will return to the Special Events Center at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2025. This marks their twelfth performance at the venue.
Tickets for the 8 p.m. show will be available starting Friday, Sept. 27 at 10 a.m. They can be purchased at the Fantasy Springs Box Office, by phone at (760) 342-5000, or online at www.FantasySpringsResort.com.
The Temptations are led by founding member Otis Williams and have won five Grammy Awards. Billboard magazine recently ranked them No.1 on its list of Greatest R&B/Hip-Hop Artists of All Time. The group has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and has received more than 50 Multi-Platinum, Platinum, and Gold Awards combined.
Their concert set list will include fan favorites such as “My Girl,” “Just My Imagination (Running Away With Me),” “Ain’t Too Proud To Beg,” “Papa Was A Rollin’ Stone,” “I Can’t Get Next To You,” and “Get Ready.” They will also perform a new song from their latest album “Temptations 60,” titled “Is It Gonna Be Yes Or No,” written and produced by Smokey Robinson.
The Four Tops are known for defining the Motown sound of the 1960s with their powerful voices and strong friendships among members Levi Stubbs, Abdul “Duke” Fakir, Renaldo “Obie” Benson, and Lawrence Payton Jr., who performed together for over four decades.
Their repertoire includes doo-wop, jazz, soul music, R&B, disco, adult contemporary music, hard rock, and show tunes. Some of their chart-topping hits include “Baby I Need Your Loving,” “Reach Out I’ll Be There,” “I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch),” “It’s the Same Old Song,” and “Ain’t No Woman Like the One I Got.” In 1990, they were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.
