Old Town Artisan Studios has announced a series of events for the upcoming fall and winter seasons. The lineup includes the Art of Music series, monthly Open Mic Nights, and the annual Gingerbread Lane celebration.

The Art of Music series will begin on October 9 and continue on the second Thursday of each month through April. Presented by Jam on the Rocks Productions, this event features musical performances combined with conversation, education, and storytelling. Each session will focus on aspects such as musical theory, history, genre, or style and will showcase expert musicians. Tickets for these sessions range from $20 to $50.

“We have Art of Music kicking off next week, on October 9th from 6:00pm – 7:30pm. Art of Music is scheduled for the Second Thursday of every month (Oct 9, Nov 13, Dec 11, Jan 8, Feb 12, Mar 12, Apr 9).”

“Jam on the Rocks Productions proudly presents The Art of Music at Old Town Artisan Studios. Inspired by the mission of OTAS, this series fuses musical performance with conversation, education, and storytelling. Each presentation will focus on an element of musical theory, history, genre or style by featuring expert musicians here to share their craft. Join us on the historic Old Town Artisan Studios campus and be swept up by the beautiful surroundings, engaging community, and world-renowned talent.”

Open Mic Night will start on October 20 and recur every third Monday of each month until April (with a change in February due to a holiday). These evenings are open to musicians, poets, comedians, songwriters, storytellers and artists from various backgrounds who wish to perform in front of an audience in a supportive environment. The events take place from 6 to 8 pm in an outdoor courtyard setting with food trucks available onsite.

“Join us for an evening of performances and a featured FOOD VENDOR! Calling all musicians, poets, comedians, songwriters, storytellers, and artists alike! Old Town Artisan Studios is hosting a monthly Open Mic Night with stage PA and host. Come and share with us every third Monday of the month from 6 to 8 pm in our beautiful outdoor courtyard. Practice your skills gain confidence by performing in front of others in a supportive environment and connect with and learn from other artists. To amplify the experience we are bringing food trucks to Open Mic in the large parking lot at the main entrance of OTAS. Limited seating and tables will be available within the lower patio and courtyard.”

Gingerbread Lane is set for December 6th ,13th ,and 20th . During these dates ,the studios’ campus turns into a decorated space with lights ,a large Christmas tree ,and Santa’s workshop .The event offers hands-on activities such as cookie decorating ,clay ornament painting ,and live performances including music ,dance ,and showcases by local youth groups .Admission is free for families .
