Organized retail theft suspects arrested after series of incidents across Southern California

On November 13, 2025, deputies from the Perris Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of grand theft at a business located on North Perris Boulevard in Perris. According to authorities, suspects had stolen a significant quantity of beauty products and left the scene before law enforcement arrived.

The Robbery and Burglary Suppression Team from the Perris Sheriff’s Station took over the investigation. They identified Nicole Barrios, age 19 of Rancho Cucamonga, and Andres Mora, age 18 of Ontario, as suspects in the case. Investigators determined that these individuals were connected to several thefts across Los Angeles County, Orange County, and various cities in Riverside County. The total value of merchandise stolen is estimated at approximately $30,000.

On November 14, with assistance from the Hemet Police Department, both suspects were apprehended following another reported theft at a business on West Florida Avenue in Hemet. Authorities stated that evidence linked to multiple thefts was found inside their vehicle. Barrios and Mora were arrested and booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center for charges including grand theft and organized retail theft.

“This is an ongoing investigation, and no additional details are available at this time,” said officials. “Anyone with information about these incidents is encouraged to contact Deputy Sanchez at the Perris Sheriff’s Station at (951) 210–1000.”
