Palm Desert man dies after incident in Palm Springs

Raymond Olguin Jr., a 29-year-old resident of Palm Desert, died on September 16, 2025. According to the Riverside County Coroner’s Office, Olguin was injured at approximately 8:50 p.m. on East San Rafael Drive just west of Avenida Caballeros in Palm Springs. He was pronounced dead at the same location at 9:05 p.m.

The Palm Springs Police Department is handling the investigation under case number 2509P3759. The coroner confirmed that next of kin have been notified.

Authorities have advised that all inquiries regarding this incident should be directed to the investigating agency.
