The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway has announced extended operating hours for the upcoming Labor Day weekend, running from Saturday, August 30 through Monday, September 1, 2025. On both Saturday and Sunday, the first tram will depart at 8:00 a.m., with the last tram up scheduled for 9:00 p.m. and the final tram down at 10:30 p.m. On Monday, service will begin at 8:00 a.m., with the last tram up at 8:00 p.m. and the last tram down at 9:30 p.m.
Guided nature walks led by Mt. San Jacinto State Park volunteers are set to conclude on Sunday, August 31. These walks have been offered on Sundays throughout the summer months and provide visitors with two trail options. The Desert View Trail is a one-and-a-half-mile route starting at 11:00 a.m., while the Long Valley Nature Trail is a three-quarter-mile loop beginning at 1:30 p.m. There is no charge or advance registration required for these walks, which start at the bottom of the Mountain Station concrete path.
