The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway will operate on extended hours during Labor Day Weekend, from Saturday, August 30 through Monday, September 1, 2025. On both Saturday and Sunday, the first tram departs at 8:00 a.m., with the last tram going up at 9:00 p.m. and the final descent at 10:30 p.m. On Monday, trams begin service at 8:00 a.m., with the last ascent at 8:00 p.m. and the last trip down scheduled for 9:30 p.m.

Additionally, guided nature walks led by Mt. San Jacinto State Park volunteers will conclude for the season on Sunday, August 31. These walks are held on Sundays throughout the summer and offer two options: the Desert View Trail, a one-and-a-half-mile route starting at 11:00 a.m., and the Long Valley Nature Trail, a three-quarter-mile loop beginning at 1:30 p.m. Participation is free and does not require advance registration; walks start from the bottom of the Mountain Station concrete path.
