Memorial Day Weekend signals the start of summer activities at the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway and Mount San Jacinto State Park. Visitors can enjoy extended hours on Fridays and Saturdays, Guided Nature Walks every Sunday, and summer programs from the Mount San Jacinto State Park and Natural History Association.

On Memorial Day Weekend, holiday hours will be observed on Sunday, May 25, with the last tram up at 9:00 p.m. and down at 10:30 p.m. On Monday, May 26, trams begin running at 8:00 a.m., with the last one up at 8:00 p.m. and down by 9:30 p.m.

Summer Hours commence on May 23 and continue until September 1, 2025. During this period, the last tram ascends at 9:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, descending by 10:30 p.m. Peaks Restaurant extends its final seating to 8:30 p.m., while Pines Café stays open until 9:30 p.m.

Guided Nature Walks resume on May 25 and are available every Sunday through September 1. Participants can choose between two trails—the Desert View Trail starting at 11:00 a.m., or the Long Valley Nature Trail beginning at 1:30 p.m. No advance registration is required; only regular Tramway admission applies.

The Mount San Jacinto State Park summer programs run until August 30, offering visitors insights into enjoying park resources responsibly. For more details about MSJSP programs, visit https://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=636.
