Palm Springs Aerial Tramway announces special hours and holiday dining options

The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway has announced a special holiday schedule from December 21 to January 5. During this period, the first tram will depart at 8:00 a.m., with the last tram up at 8:00 p.m., and the final tram down at 9:30 p.m.

On December 25 and January 1, Ride ’n’ Dine tickets are available for purchase between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. These tickets include admission to the tram and dinner at Pines Café, which is cafeteria-style dining. Dinner service begins at 11:00 a.m. The combination tickets are priced at $41 for adults and seniors, while children aged 3-10 can enjoy it for $27.50.

Peaks Restaurant will offer a special prix fixe holiday menu on December 25 and January 1, starting at 11:00 a.m. The cost is $79 for adults and seniors, with a separate children’s menu available for those aged 3-10. It should be noted that tram fare is not included in this price. Peaks Restaurant will also serve its regular menu during these times, and reservations are recommended by calling 760-325-4537 or visiting their website.

Additionally, choir performances began on December 4 and continue on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays through December 15 to mark the holiday season’s start. On December 8, KESQ’s Patrick Evans will host the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony featuring “American Idol” winner Abi Carter lighting the Tram’s iconic tree made up of over 4,000 LED lights.
