The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway will begin its annual “Sounds of the Holidays” concert series on December 3 at the Mountain Station. The event, a long-standing tradition, features performances by local high school choirs who will sing holiday songs and carols on selected dates through December 14.

This year’s schedule includes the following groups: La Quinta High School Chamber Singers on December 3, Cathedral City High School Lions’ Pride Chamber Singers on December 4, Palm Springs High School Madrigal Choir on December 7, Shadow Hills High School Chamber Singers on December 10, Coachella Valley High School Concert Choir on December 11, and Quartz Hill High School Chamber Singers and A Cappella Choir on December 14.

Performances are scheduled for 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. at the Pines Café Stage and are included with regular admission to the tramway. Food and beverages can be purchased at Pines Café and The Lookout Lounge. On December 7, the choral performance will take place outdoors at Desert View Terrace at 5:30 p.m., marking the start of the Tramway’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. An additional performance is set for that evening at 7:30 p.m. inside Pines Café Stage.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.pstramway.com or by calling 760-325-1449 for more information.
