Beginning May 1, the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway offers its Summer Pass, providing an opportunity for guests to escape the summer heat and enjoy cooler temperatures at Mount San Jacinto. The Summer Pass is valid from May 1 through August 31, 2025.

The temperatures at the Tramway’s summit are usually 30-40 degrees cooler than on the valley floor. Passholders have access to over 50 miles of hiking trails, picnic areas, and campgrounds in the 14,000-acre wilderness of Mount San Jacinto State Park.

The Summer Pass offers unlimited Tram admissions for the passholder, a 10% discount on additional Tram admissions (limited to four), a 10% discount at Peaks Restaurant and Pines Café, and free parking. Summer Passes are priced at $85 for adults and seniors, and $45 for children aged 3-10. Guests can purchase their Summer Pass online or in-person at the Tramway’s Valley Station starting May 1.

The Tramway Mountain Station provides views stretching from the Salton Sea to the San Gorgonio Pass. Dining options include a romantic fine dining experience at Peaks Restaurant and a family-friendly cafeteria-style setting at Pines Café. The Lookout Lounge offers cocktails. Visitors can also explore the gift shop, a natural history museum, and watch two documentary-style films about the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway and Mount San Jacinto State Park.
