The reopening of the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway has been postponed by one week, now scheduled for October 19 instead of the initially planned October 12. This delay is attributed to unforeseen technical difficulties encountered during the annual maintenance period.

Tramway General Manager Nancy Nichols stated, “Our annual maintenance period is dedicated to essential Tramway system upkeep, which cannot be performed while open to the public. Safety is our top priority, and the delay was necessary to ensure all issues are thoroughly resolved.”

Nichols further commented, “We are working diligently to prepare for the new reopening date and appreciate our visitors’ patience and understanding during this time.”
