The reopening date for the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway has been moved from October 7 to October 12 due to maintenance delays.
“Due to a one-day weather delay and projects taking longer than anticipated, we had to make the unfortunate decision to delay our reopening by five days,” said Chris Bartsch, Vice President of Tramway Systems.
Bartsch added, “While we regret the inconvenience this may cause our guests, our number one goal is always the safe and reliable operation of the tram.”
The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway has resumed normal operations, with the first car departing at noon, the last car up scheduled for 8:00 p.m., and the final descent at 9:30 p.m. Officials have announced that they are ready to welcome visitors back…
Nancy Stuart has been elected as the 2026 Chairperson of the Mount San Jacinto Winter Park Authority, which oversees the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.
The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway will observe extended holiday hours for Presidents’ Day weekend, operating from Saturday, February 14 through Monday, February 16.
