Palm Springs Aerial Tramway to host inaugural AutumnFest with German cuisine and live music

The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway will host its first AutumnFest event on Saturday, October 25. The event will be held at Pines Café, located at the top of the tramway, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

AutumnFest will feature a three-course German meal with traditional dishes such as bratwurst, sauerkraut, and schnitzel. Each meal includes a slice of German chocolate cake and a Bavarian pretzel. Live music will be provided by the polka band “Bavarian Stew.”

Tickets for the event are $41 for adults and $27.50 for children ages 3 to 10. The price includes both the meal and tram fare. More information and the full menu are available on the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway website or by calling 760-325-1449.

The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is known as the world’s largest rotating tram car. Since opening in 1963, it has transported passengers from the Valley Station at an elevation of 2,643 feet to the Mountain Station at 8,516 feet in about ten minutes.
